But ultimately, the dates of the next G7 summit, organized by France, were “kindly” changed “to take into account the agenda” of Donald Trump, a senior American official told AFP on Friday. He was reacting to information from the Politico site.
An organized MMA fight
The summit, initially scheduled for June 14 to 16, has been postponed by one day and will be held from June 15 to 17.

Because he is the leader of the free world, our partners considered that President Trump’s participation in the G7 summit was essential. They kindly changed the dates to accommodate the American president’s agenda.
“The date of the summit is the result of consultations with all of our G7 partners,” commented the Elysée for its part, soberly.
The United States, Japan, Canada, France, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom make up the “Group of 7”. Each country takes turns organizing the ministerial meetings and the summit of heads of state and government which take place each year.
This format was turned upside down by the return to power of Donald Trump, who profoundly shook the traditional alliances of the United States.
