On the night of February 22, after 00:30, explosions occurred in the center of Lviv, near the Magnus shopping center, as a result of which a policewoman was killed and 14 people were injured. The mayor of Lvov, Andrei Sadovy, said that a terrorist attack had occurred in the city.

Updated: Later, Sadovyi reported that, according to preliminary information, “a policewoman was killed as a result of a terrorist attack in Lvov.”
The police reported that “the explosions occurred after patrol police arrived to respond to a call.”
At 2:38, Sadovy clarified that about 15 wounded were known, some of whom were in serious condition.
The mayor of Lvov also added that the house where the explosion occurred was not residential, it contains shops. However, as a result of the blast wave, windows in neighboring houses were blown out.
