Due to the increase in fuel costs resulting from war in Iranthe German airline Lufthansa is considering grounding twenty planes for the time being. A team has been commissioned to prepare the appropriate measures, said the Lufthansa CEO, Carsten Spohr, during a virtual meeting with employees, as reported by the German newspaper Handelsblatt. According to the manager, this corresponds to a 2.5% reduction of the capacity of available seats. If necessary, up to 40 planes they may be temporarily grounded.
