Lucid Gravity SUV Reaches EPA-Confirmed 450-Mile Range
Lucid Motors is making waves in the luxury EV market with its highly anticipated Gravity SUV. After a ceremonial start of production last week at its Arizona factory, the EPA has officially confirmed the vehicle’s all-electric range, clocking in at a remarkable 450 miles on a single charge.
Exceeding Expectations
This figure surpasses Lucid’s initial advertised range of 440 miles, positioning the Gravity as a serious contender in the long-range EV segment. While still trailing behind the Lucid Air sedan’s impressive 512-mile range, the Gravity’s 450-mile capacity offers ample distance for most drivers, effectively erasing range anxiety as a major concern.
Luxury Features and Groundbreaking Technology
The Gravity boasts a spacious three-row interior with ample cargo space thanks to its frunk – a feature offering additional storage or even seating when parked.
A standout feature is the inclusion of a native NACS port, making it the first Lucid vehicle to offer seamless charging compatibility with Tesla’s Supercharger network. This integrated solution brings added convenience and accessibility for Gravity owners, further solidifying its place as a technologically advanced and user-friendly vehicle.
Pricing and Availability
Considering its impressive range and luxury features, the Gravity comes with a premium price tag.
The initial configurations, starting at $94,900 for the Grand Touring models, are available for order now. However, budget-conscious buyers will have to wait until late 2025 for the more affordable Touring versions priced at $79,900. Lucid is also planning an even more accessible mid-sized SUV for late 2026 with a target price of $50,000.
