Morelia, Michoacán (MiMorelia.com).- The Federal Commission for the Protection against Health Risks (Cofepris), through the Ministry of Health of Michoacán (SSM), alerts the population about the health risk of Love Natural food supplements, which are marketed without complying with current legislation, representing a danger to health.
These products are advertised with exaggerated and unproven benefits, claiming properties to treat diabetes, arthritis, digestive problems, liver, kidneys, allergies, cholesterol, anxiety and other conditions, which is prohibited for a dietary supplement.
In addition, they contain ingredients that are not permitted or have evidence of toxicity, such as garlic, nettle, silymarin, ginseng, St. John’s wort, mistletoe, wormwood, horse chestnut, among others. Its origin, quality and manufacturing conditions are also unknown, which increases the health risk.
