After a prolonged and valiant struggle with cancer, Louise Bazinet passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, at the age of 64.surrounded by her loving family in her home, her departure marks the end of a life defined by devotion and care. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
A Pillar of Family: Wife, Mother, and Grandmother
Louise was the beloved wife of Jacques bazinet, a partnership built on years of shared experiences and unwavering support. she was also the dedicated mother to Luc, Yves (Brandei), Chantal Faulkner (Brandon), Danny, Michel (Kayla), and Lisa (Mathieu) Bazinet.Her role as a nurturing mother extended to her thirteen grandchildren: Zackary, Cloé, Ava, Zoé, Bradley, Lex, Ali, Alexie, Nixon, Alivia, Koralie, Kamille, and Jaxon, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
A Family’s Loss: Siblings and Mother Mourn
Louise is survived by her siblings Nicole, Richard, Denis, Rachel, André, and sylvie, who will deeply feel her absence. she also leaves behind her mother, Hélène (née Guérin) Ménard. Louise was predeceased by her father, Joséphat Ménard. The bonds of family were central to Louise’s life, and her memory will continue to unite them.
Paying Respects: Funeral Arrangements
The family will receive visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home in Sturgeon Falls on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. A memorial service will be held at the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel (Sturgeon Falls) at 12:30 PM, followed by a light lunch.This gathering will provide an opportunity for friends and family to share memories and celebrate Louise’s life.
