Nobody got seven straight in Lotto last Saturday. Thus, the first prize pot was doubled in size to almost NOK 30 million during Saturday’s draw.
Over 350,000 small and large prizes were paid out. Nevertheless, there were two people in particular who could really cheer loudly – they got seven straight and won exactly NOK 14,844,920 each.
This was the series of numbers that were drawn:

Two people cheered after seven straight
Table of Contents
A total of two people got seven straight in Saturday’s Lotto draw. Each of them can now enjoy NOK 14.8 million in their account.
This is how they reacted to the news:
The woman was watching TV when we contacted her. She could hardly believe her ears and asked her daughter to come over to join the phone call.
– Are you completely serious? This must be digested, is her first reaction.
Eventually the living room is filled with good atmosphere and laughter.
– I’m very happy, even though it hasn’t fully dawned on me yet.
The woman wanted to share the prize with her family, and there are many indications that she will become the Santa Claus of all time.
– We’ll probably enjoy ourselves at Christmas, yes, she says, laughing.
The man was at home when we made contact with him. He had no big plans for the evening, but suddenly had a lot to think about when we called.
– Is it possible?
There were both tears of joy and laughter, and the man immediately knew what he wanted to use the prize for.
– I will make many people happy now. There are many people out there who need help.
– This is like a dream come true, he exults.
This is how last year’s double winner experienced the Lotto notification
A year ago there was also a double first prize pot in Lotto. At the time, there were three lucky players who shared the pot and were able to cash in a total of NOK 10.4 million each. This is how one of last year’s winners reacted when the million-dollar announcement came:
Won solid prize in Joker
A man from Gjerstad in Agder was selected as Saturday’s Joker candidate. He was thus guaranteed an entry prize of NOK 573,000, but 2.8 million awaited at the top of the prize ladder if he went all the way to the top.
We didn’t get hold of the man before the TV draw, so Embla made the logical up/down picks for him. These were the random numbers he was given (read from right to left):
5 – 0 – 7 – 4 – 0
There were two misses for the man – thus the man ended up in the middle of the tree on the prize ladder and won NOK 946,000.
The matter will be updated as soon as we have spoken to the man.
Seven people with five dishes
It wasn’t just the Joker candidate who secured a solid prize on Saturday – over 38,000 large and small prizes were paid out to lucky winners this autumn evening. Seven people got five straight and thus secured NOK 81,905 in prizes each.
Congratulations to all of Saturday’s winners!

Table set for new draws
The next Joker draw is already on Wednesday 19 November – hand in hand with Vikinglotto. The joker pot will then be approx. NOK 3.2 million.
On Saturday 22 November, it is ready for a new Lotto draw. The first prize will then be approx. NOK 14 million.
Good luck!
Chance of winning Lotto
To win first prize in Lotto, the player must have 7 correct winning numbers out of 34 possible. This means that if you play one row, the theoretical probability of getting 7 straight is 1:5.37 million per row (rounded up to 1:5.4 million per row). In other words: There are 5.4 million possible combinations of 7 numbers when you subtract 7 from the 34 numbers. Statistically speaking, you win a prize with 4 straight or better on average on every fifth coupon with ten rows.

Chance of winning Joker
The Joker lottery game is based on the player card number, and there are draws twice a week – in connection with the Lotto draw on Saturday and the Viking Lotto draw on Wednesday. The first prize winner is drawn at random from everyone who has played in each game round. The probability of being drawn is therefore related to how many participate. If we take an average Saturday, the number of participants is approx. 550,000. That means the probability of being drawn Saturday is approx. 1:550,000. For an average Wednesday, on the other hand, the number of participants is approx. 300,000, which then gives you a chance to win Wednesday at approx. 1:300,000.
