Want to browse the Loire with old bikes and retro outfits? The “ anjou vintage bike ” event transforms Saumur and its region into an open-air stage for a weekend. It only takes a bike prior to 1987 and a vintage inspiration outfit to embark. “”There are 6 courses offered, from 30 to 105 kilometers, you have passages by the Loire, passages in troglo, buffet stops on the Loire to taste fish, without forgetting to make a little bike anyway!“Explains Jacky Goulet, mayor of Saumur:”Vintage period clothes add to the festive aspect of the event. It’s a bit like the Champigny slogan: charm, chic and elegance. »
In addition to the circuits, a village of exhibitors, street shows, and concerts are planned throughout the city. Up to 50,000 visitors are expected for this event.
