The XXVI National Head Injury Awareness Day, organized by the Daccapo Association in collaboration with the National Federation of Cranio Trauma Associations, is set to take place on May 17th at the Palazzo del Bo. This year’s theme, Designing Change – Never Alone After the Brain-Headed Trauma: The Territory and the New Reforms, underscores the critical need for comprehensive support systems and innovative approaches to rehabilitation for individuals affected by traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).

Globally, an estimated 70 million people experience a TBI each year, translating to over 130 individuals every minute.Of these, approximately 13 million cases are classified as severe.
