The West Coast Conference (WCC) has announced the matchups for the 2025-26 men’s basketball season.The WCC will implement an 18-game conference schedule, featuring 12 member teams.

The Lions will have two games each against Oregon State and Washington State this year.In their previous encounter, LMU triumphed over the Beavers at Hank’s House with a 21-point victory during the conference home opener. This season marks LMU’s first game in Corvallis since the 2017-18 season. Washington State will visit Los Angeles for the first time since 1950. after a single regular-season game in Spokane last year, this season should mark LMU’s inaugural trip to Pullman as a program.

A highlight of the upcoming season is the return of Seattle University to the WCC after 45 years. Seattle departed the conference in 1980 but has accepted an invitation to rejoin, starting this fall. The Lions and Seahawks have a history of 31 games since 1953,with LMU securing the most recent win in 2011. The two teams are scheduled for two conference games.

Due to the conference’s unbalanced schedule, LMU will not travel to Saint Mary’s or Portland this season. However, both programs will be hosted in Los Angeles. Conversely, Gonzaga and Pepperdine are the only two opponents that the Lions will face exclusively as road games.

In addition to Oregon State, Washington State, and Seattle, the Lions will compete against Santa Clara, San Francisco, Pacific, and San Diego in both home and away games this season.

The 2025-26 conference schedule is set to commence on Sunday, dec. 28. Following the 10-week schedule, the Conference will host the Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championship from March 5-10, 2026, at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
