Little’s Oyster Bar Houston | Private Dining Options

Just in time for the holidays, Little’s Oyster Barlocated at 3001 South Shepherd, is opening its doors for private event bookings in the heart of Houston. The restaurant’s bright solarium, bathed in natural light, can now be closed off from the main dining room to create an intimate setting for up to 40 seated guests. The space suits cocktail receptions, family gatherings and festive celebrations alike.

A two-course preset menu highlights Little’s’ signature seafood and steak offerings. Dishes include scallop chowder layered with parsnip, celeriac and smoked potato, petite filet of beef with shellfish au poivre and bacon and Texas Redfish accented by a Castelvetrano olive green sauce.

A selection of add-ons are offered such as oysters on the half shell, wild-caught shrimp served with pomegranate cocktail sauce and dry-aged tuna crudo with roasted pepper, red walnut, pomegranate and mint. Warm additions feature baked Gulf oysters, crab croquettes and grilled octopus with marble potatoes, sesame, schug and house pimentón.

Guests may further tailor their experience with shared sides such as grits with Texas cheddar, roasted marble potatoes with Cajun ketchup and desserts like chocolate pot of cream or spiced-carrot blonde brownie.

Private events are currently reserved by phone at (713) 522-4595 or on the website. The restaurant’s Event Specialist assists with menu planning, décor guidelines and table arrangements to ensure each gathering reflects the season’s spirit of celebration.

The restaurant, which is part of the Pappas Restaurants family, is known for refined Gulf Coast seafood served in a modern, light-filled space just off of Westheimer. The menu, designed by chef Jason Ryczekcelebrates seasonal ingredients and sustainable sourcing, featuring raw bar selections, creative crudos and dishes that balance coastal freshness with classic technique. A curated wine list and handcrafted cocktails complement the menu, while attentive service and a relaxed, elegant atmosphere make Little’s a standout in Houston’s dining scene.

Little’s Oyster Bar is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. Valet parking is offered onsite.
