The Detroit Lions have had a busy start to NFL free agency 2026, but there is still work to be done.
The biggest free-agent signing the Lions have made so far is former Carolina Panthers center Cade Mays, who agreed Monday with Detroit on a three-year, $25 million deal. He will fill one of the biggest holes on the team. The Lions continue to look for a starting offensive tackle, help on the defensive line and backup running back.
Two familiar faces will also be playing elsewhere in 2026, with linebacker Alex Anzalone signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and defensive back Amik Robertson signing with the Washington Commanders.
We’re keeping track of all of the Lions signings, additions and subtractions in 2026 free agency below.
