Every year around 6,300 women in Switzerland develop breast cancer. Even after therapy, many of them are accompanied by the fear of a relapse. The “Feels Good” campaign focuses on aftercare. On what healing means in everyday life: patience, confidence and the rediscovery of your own body. And how the Lindenhof Group supports and accompanies patients in meeting the associated challenges.
The three-part campaign was designed by communications specialist Georg Baumewerd with the Bern-based communications and creative agency Go Slow, the web agency unlocked and the digital agency ads&figures. Together with the Lindenhof Group, the team wants to raise awareness of the topic of cancer and encourage those affected and their families. With positive statements that make both the expertise and empathy of the Lindenhof Group specialists noticeable.
The campaign uses owned media, such as newsletters, LinkedIn posts, flyers, screens and web content but also paid media, such as YouTube ads, to attract attention. A landing page at eingutertag.ch also brings together useful information on prevention, treatment and aftercare – supplemented by offers from our own specialist centers and external partners.
“We see our patients as people and not as a number on a list. In our competence centers we rely on personal support, empathy and the extraordinary expertise of our network. For the well-being of patients and their relatives,” says Dr. med. Ilka Rüsges-Wolter, Medical Director of the Bern Oncology Center of the Lindenhof Group.
The third part of the campaign trio on the topic of treatment for prostate cancer concludes the campaign in November – with further contributions that take the topic of cancer out of the taboo zone and encourage people to talk openly about cancer.
