Light Snow Wednesday: Forecast & Updates

Video: Light snow likely Wednesday morning

NOW YOUR STORMWATCH 9 FORECAST. LAST QUICK MOVING SYSTEM FOR US TOMORROW. OUT AHEAD OF THAT TODAY FOR CLEAN UP SOME BRISK WINDS TO GO WITH THE SUNSHINE TEMPERATURES HOVERING AROUND IN THE 20S. BUT IT FEELS MORE LIKE SINGLE DIGITS. EARLIER THIS MORNING TO NOW TEENS. IF YOU’RE OUTDOORS THIS AFTERNOON, EVENTUALLY THE WINDS LIGHTEN UP. LATER ON THIS EVENING, TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BACK INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS BELOW ZERO. UP NORTH WILL BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS TO LOWER RANGE OF TEENS IN SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE. AS THE CLOUDS START TO THICKEN OVERNIGHT, SOME LIGHT SNOW RIGHT ON THE DOORSTEP AS SUNRISE KICKS IN TOMORROW MORNING, WE WILL LIKELY HAVE SOME LIGHT SNOW ARRIVING EITHER SIDE OF THE MORNING COMMUTE, AND THIS COULD BE A LIGHT COATING TO AN INCH OR TWO IN SPOTS. TEMPERATURES WILL BE PLENTY COLD ENOUGH FOR THIS TO BE ALL IN THE FORM OF SOME LIGHT SNOW, BUT AGAIN, WITH TEMPERATURES WHERE THEY ARE, THAT MEANS ROADS COULD GET SLIPPERY IN SOME SPOTS DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE OR JUST AFTER. WE ARE EXPECTING A WIND DOWN OF THAT LIGHT SNOW BY AROUND 11:00 OR LUNCHTIME AND THEN LATE IN THE DAY, PROBABLY AFTER THE EVENING COMMUTE, WE GET AROUND SIX SEVEN, 8:00. THERE COULD BE A PASSING SNOW SHOWER OR EVEN A BRIEF SQUALL WITH A FRONT EVENTUALLY COMING THROUGH. NOW BEHIND THAT DISTURBANCE NOTICE WHERE TEMPERATURES START TO CREEP UP. WE’RE TALKING THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, HIGH TEMPERATURES MAKING THEIR WAY BACK INTO THE MID TO UPPER 30S. AND YEAH, I THINK BOTH DAYS THIS WEEKEND WE HAVE A REASONABLE CHANCE OF APPROACHING 40 DEGREES. SO THIS SYSTEM VERY DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE THAT WE HAD COME THROUGH YESTERDAY WITH COASTAL DEVELOPMENT. THIS ONE IS LIMITED MOISTURE RIGHT OUT OF CANADA AND QUICK MOVING. SO IT HAS, YOU KNOW, A SMALLER IMPACT AS FAR AS WHAT WE’RE GOING TO SEE OUT OF IT. THE OUTPUT FROM THIS SYSTEM. AT THE SAME TIME, THOUGH, IT AGAIN ARRIVES AT THE TIMING RIGHT AROUND THE MORNING COMMUTE TOMORROW WITH TEMPERATURES PLENTY COLD ENOUGH FOR IT TO BE IN THE FORM OF SNOW, AND SO ROADWAYS COULD TURN A BIT SLIPPERY. WINDS STARTING TO CALM DOWN LATER TONIGHT, BUT AGAIN, THOSE FEELS LIKE READINGS ARE IN THE TEENS. IF YOU’RE OUT CLEANING UP THROUGH THE AFTERNOON, NOTHING MORE THAN AN INCH OR TWO OF ACCUMULATION OUT OF THIS. WE’RE GOING TO HAVE TO KEEP AN EYE OUT LATE IN THE DAY FOR A PASSING SNOW SHOWER OR SQUALL. OTHERWISE, AGAIN, AFTER THIS LIGHT ACCUMULATION, TEMPERATURES START WARMING UP HERE GOING FORWARD. AS A MATTER OF FACT, WE GO TOWARD THE END OF THE WEEK.
