He scored two goals for the “blues”. Everton Ball in the first part in the 13th and 27th minutes, and the one who entered at the break Marin Petkov shaped the final score in the 73rd minute.

The head coach of Levski – Julio Velazquez, made six changes to the starting line-up, compared to the 3:1 victory over Black Sea in Varna last round. Christian Makun, Oliver Kamdem, Georgi Kostadinov, Asen Mitkov, Everton Bala and Borislav Rupanov started from the first minute, replacing the titular captain Wenderson Tsunami, Aldair Neves, Akram Buras, Gasper Turdin, Marin Petkov and Mustafa Sangare, whose absence seemed to be the biggest surprise.

The “Blues” completely dictated the initiative on the field and could easily have scored more goals, but Borislav Rupanov, Marin Petkov, Mazir Sula and Oliver Kamdem scored with mistakes. Julio Velazquez’s alumni made a total of 13 shots, six of which were accurate. The visitors from Dobrich were not able to oppose their illustrious rival and managed to get only one accurate performance, the work of the youth of the capital city Anton Ivanov even with the score 0:0, but then Svetoslav Vutsov accounted for himself with an excellent intervention.

Levski opened the scoring in the 13th minute when Asen Mitkov received a pass from Maikon in the Dobrudzha half and with a wonderful pass cutting through the defense he put Everton Bala on the left in the penalty area. The Brazilian dealt with Bogdan Kostov, feinting him, and fired a solid right-footed shot into the far corner of goalkeeper Galin Grigorov for 1-0.

The Blues doubled their lead in the 27th minute. Christian Dimitrov found Oliver Kamdem on the right-hand post with a fine pass, then the Frenchman cut inside, dealt with Di Matteo Lovrich and combined with Radoslav Kirilov on the right. The Bulgarian international returned the ball to Kamdem, who saved himself from the ambush. The right-back’s cross followed on the ground from the right of the box, where two Dobruja players failed to clear and Everton Bala was forgotten. The Brazilian took control with his first touch with his right foot and then fired just wide from close range to double the Blues’ lead to 2-0.

Marin Petkov, who entered the break, created the classic and the final result in the 73rd minute. Borislav Rupanov managed to keep the ball on the touchline on the left, although he was pressed by two Dobruja players. The ball was then taken over by Maicon, who made a powerful break down the left flank and passed into the penalty area. At the far post was Petkov, who was dropped by Mateus Leoni and without hesitation sent the ball into Galin Grigorov’s net for 3:0.

In this way, Levski collected 32 points and continues to be the leader in the provisional standings, already having a six-point lead over second-placed CSKA 1948, who host champions Ludogorets on Monday. The Eagles are fourth with 23 points, but also with an additional game less than the teams in front of them. Dobruja, on the other hand, remains firmly last with only seven points and without a win in nine consecutive matches.

For the “blues”, Hebar Pazardzhik will be visiting in a match of the first round of the SESAME Cup of Bulgaria, before traveling to Kardzhali for a clash with Arda in the championship. Dobrudzha visits Bdin Vidin in the national cup tournament and then host Spartak Varna in the championship.
