The head coach of Levski – Julio Velazquez, made six changes to the starting line-up, compared to the 3:1 victory over Black Sea in Varna last round. Christian Makun, Oliver Kamdem, Georgi Kostadinov, Asen Mitkov, Everton Bala and Borislav Rupanov started from the first minute, replacing the titular captain Wenderson Tsunami, Aldair Neves, Akram Buras, Gasper Turdin, Marin Petkov and Mustafa Sangare, whose absence seemed to be the biggest surprise.
The “Blues” completely dictated the initiative on the field and could easily have scored more goals, but Borislav Rupanov, Marin Petkov, Mazir Sula and Oliver Kamdem scored with mistakes. In this way, Levski collected 32 points and continues to be the leader in the provisional standings, already having a six-point lead over second-placed CSKA 1948, who host champions Ludogorets on Monday. The Eagles are fourth with 23 points, but also with an additional game less than the teams in front of them. Dobruja, on the other hand, remains firmly last with only seven points and without a win in nine consecutive matches.
