The National Court Prosecutor’s Office has launched a formal inquiry too examine the data contained on a USB drive that former socialist party member Leire Díez submitted to the PSOE in June. The party then forwarded the device to the State Attorney General’s office. According to The reason, which was confirmed by tax sources speaking with Europa Press, the investigation is confidential and is being overseen by Fiscal Lieutenant of the National court Marta, under the direction of Chief Prosecutor Jesús Alonso.
