An 18-year-old man was found dead with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle in Berry Park on Sunday, according to the Leesburg Police Department.
Leesburg officers responded to the park, located at 2121 Johns Avenue, around 12:56 p.m. and found the young man inside the vehicle with at least one gunshot wound to his body.
Leesburg Fire-Rescue and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene, but the young man was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as Juan Gomez Jr., a Hispanic man from the Grand Island area of Lake County.
