“Create your Swiss professional CV with a certified HR expert in Geneva.” This is what the CVsuisse.com site offers. And more precisely to “write a CV in authentic Swiss format optimized ATS [Applicant Tracking System, logiciel de gestion de candidatures, ndlr] by Léa Harfi, certified HR expert in Geneva.” The site even calls itself “No. 1 service for creating a Swiss CV”. And offers to create “a professional CV”… for only 39 euros.
Tempting? Yes, except that Léa Harfi is nowhere to be found. And yet, Martin* did use the platform’s services in 2025. French, wanting to establish himself in the Swiss job market, he came across advertisements for this service on LinkedIn. He then pays 50 euros to have his CV examined by the professional. “Given the feedback I received, both personal and professional, I realized that I needed a CV adapted for Switzerland. I wanted to save a little time, to have concrete tips.” So he pays. Unable to reach the person by telephone, he then thinks he is the victim of a scam. But in a few weeks, he received many suitable CVs and cover letters, “which seemed quite well constructed to me”.
