From February 19th, entrepreneurs will have access to the new version of the business support platform “business.gov.lv”, which will become a single point of contact for state-provided e-services for entrepreneurs and those who are just planning to start a business, according to the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA).
“Until now, only the e-services provided by the Latvian Investment and Development Agency were available on the business support platform “business.gov.lv”, but today we are taking a step towards a single digital contact point for entrepreneurs. On the new platform, entrepreneurs will be able to apply for the e-services they need from a single website, according to their practical needs,” said LIAA Director Ieva Jāgere.
Business.gov.lv was developed with the support of the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility to make the information entrepreneurs need more accessible, understandable, and structured.
The platform contains information on more than 600 state e-services, support programs, consultations, licenses, and requirements for entrepreneurship.
