Malut United against Borneo FC Samarinda took place in the Super League. Kie Raha’s Warriors were behind twice, but were able to win 3-2 with a dramatic goal!

The match was presented at the Gelora Kie Raha Stadium, Ternate on Sunday (28/12). Borneo FC took the lead quickly in the third minute.

Goal scored by Juan Villa. Starting with a quick attack, Villa got the ball in the penalty box from Peralta’s pass, passed a defender and fired a low shot calmly.

David da Silva brought North Maluku to equalize 20 minutes later. Da Silva reflected a cross, Komang guarded it quite closely but was too late to block Da Silva’s shot which Nadeo beat.

Borneo FC took the lead again in the 55th minute through Douglas Coutinho‘s goal. Through a one or two touch counter attack, Coutinho escaped into the penalty box and shot hard at the goal.

Malut equalized again in the 69th minute. Through Agung’s mistake, the Malut attackers stole the ball. Taufik Rustam then kicked the ball into the visiting team’s goal.

Both teams continued to buy and sell attacks. Nadeo, Borneo’s goalkeeper, saved at least two golden opportunities from the home team.

Malut’s decisive winning goal at the end of the match! Gustavo Franca scored Malut’s third goal in the 90+4 minute injury time. Franca cheated the ball after using Del Pino’s header near the goal.

The match finished 3-2 for the hosts. Due to this result, Borneo dropped to second place at the top of the Super League standings while with 34 points from 15 matches, they were overtaken by Persib. Malut is in third place with 31 points. The top tier continues to be hot!
