The defender of Istanbul “Anadolu Efes” represented by Latvian basketball player Rolanda Šmitas, Šeins Larkin, will not play for about two months after the injury sustained in the ULEB Euroleague 11th round match in Antalya on Friday, the club reports on its account on the “X.com” website.
It has already been reported that on Friday “Anadolu Efes” beat “Bayern” Munich 74:72 at home, with Schmidt scoring 15 points.
Larkin left the field prematurely.
“Our team captain Larkin, who suffered a groin injury in his left leg in yesterday’s match against Bayern, will not be able to play for approximately eight weeks,” the club reported.
In the tournament table, “Anadolu Efes” is in 16th place with four wins in 11 matches, and in the Turkish championship with a record of 6-1, it is second.
