“Professional firefighters from the Otrokovice station, together with a volunteer unit from Napajedel, responded to the car fire. By the time they arrived at the scene, the entire engine compartment of the vehicle was already engulfed in flames,” explained police spokeswoman Lucie Javoříková.

Firefighters therefore immediately deployed two high-pressure jets of water to bring the fire under control as quickly as possible.

A fire brigade investigator also arrived at the scene, who established a technical fault as the cause of the fire. The damage caused by the fire reached 75,000 crowns, the same value was saved by the intervention, according to the spokesperson of the fire department.
