The bad prognosis of the progress of the Porto fire, which affects the Zamora region of Sanabria, has forced to have the towns of San Martín de Castañeda and Vigo de Sanabria in addition to decreeing the confinement of the localities close to Lake Sanabria, as reported by the Government Subdelegation in the province. It is estimated that some 8,000 people are in the affected area, in addition to early morning, around 09:15, the Los Robles campsite was evacuated, with about 40 people evicted.
The Civil Protection and Emergencies Agency of the Junta de Castilla y León has sent notices to mobile phones to alert to a possible evacuation. As an emergency measure, the Benavente transport center has been enabled as a reception point for the evacuees.

The General Directorate of the Civil Guard has cut the ZA-103 to traffic, where only the decrease from San Martín de Castañeda is allowed; the ZA-104 at the exit of El Puente; and the ZA-P-2664 at its crossroads with the ZA-P-2661. In addition, rail traffic between Madrid and Galicia has been suspended. Only the access of the farmers under their responsibility is allowed, according to the sub -delegation.
Another dozen locations in warning
