Labor Day Sales 2024: Deals & Discounts

by Archynetys Sports Desk

Call me old fashioned but I still love a good brick and mortar shopping experience; whether it be a classic, no frills spot that strictly deals in surf gear or a more boutique–and dare I say bougie— establishment that carries a curated range of other lifestyle related accoutrements, I’m a fan of surf shops. The only problem is I don’t have the moolah to really throw down on premium-priced retail goods so I’m a sucker for a good discount when it comes to quality goods.

If you too are always on the hunt for a good deal that will help up-level your kit and caboodle then you won’t want to miss out on these deals. While there certainly is a world where we could make money off this type of thing, this one is straight to you, our loyal readers, with an emphasis on brands we know and trust.

Founded by surfer-shaper-poet Mike Lynch, Imperfects is a San Diego based institution of style. The unique kits have made waves across the US with fans from Bozeman to Boston and everywhere in between. As someone who’s got a few pieces in my closet, I can vouch for the quality and that people will certainly take notice. What’s to love isn’t just that the gear looks good, it’s authentic to the culture rooted in a San Diego upbringing with a select line of limited pieces called Mr. Lynchgiving a nod to Irish heritage–think dapper, real dapper. One of my favorite elements of Imperfects gear is that you can dress it up for a night on the town, or beat it up as a daily driver style staples that will get so much use they’ll rarely make it into your closet. Select RUX gear is on sale through September 2nd.

Born in Squamish, B.C, the epicenter of Canadian adventure lifestyle, from a group of people who can’t let a problem go unsolved, RUX is the answer to the problem of hauling and organizing (re: packing) all the gear that goes with an epic journey. If you’re a thrill seeker and nature lover, you already know how arduous it can be to get everything ready for a proper go into the great outdoors. Even as a solo traveler, it often takes me the better part of a day to everything in order–add in a couple of kids and, well, you get the idea. The idea is simple, to not let your things get in the way, and the result is a refined collection designed by an elite alpinist turned industrial designer for Arc’teryx and complemented by the collective experience of surfers, mountaineers, snowboarders, skiers, climbers, ATVers, and more. So if you’re the type that likes your gear tight, and your plans loose, check out the sale here.
