by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

Saturday October 11, Ève Vercel and the Phot’Audace association took possession of the Bazas town hall to present the results of the workshop which took place on September 14, open to amateur photographers, during the filming of numerous scenes from the film “The Fury of Living in Bazas”, in parallel with the Photographic Meetings.

The Phot’Audace team welcomed a large audience, a professional film team around the director José Pinheiro and all the interested parties and volunteers who magnificently lent themselves to the game of producing the twenty sequences of the film, thus sharing their passion with the photographers registered for this workshop.

“Dracula comes to Bazas”

There was a lot of joy, great encounters and the desire to do it again next year. With the rain, the scenery faltered, but the organizers coped with adversity. Of course, we had to imagine a theme that could mobilize everyone’s skills, while always having the same pleasure that unites all these enthusiasts.

The numerous photos taken during this morning full of meteorological events were exhibited and the video of the film made on this occasion was offered to everyone on the screens installed under the hall. The surprise was the announcement by the president of Phot’Audace, specifying that Sunday September 13, 2026, a new workshop will be offered to amateur photographers with the theme “Dracula comes to Bazas”, and the new Bazas Photographic Meetings will be prepared for September 12 and 13, 2026.

The theme of the 2026 competition, “Freedom(ies)… of expression”, was also retained. A very broad theme as usual. And for invited exhibitions, a small change is planned to provide a little extra, currently being developed with photo clubs.
