The SG Kyburg 1 team demonstrated exceptional skill, clinching the title of cantonal champion in the rifle category after a demanding two-round competition. Their initial score of 696 points after the first 75 shots placed them in a leading position, closely followed by SG Hittnau 1 and SG Wetzikon 1, both with 688 points.The competition intensified as weather conditions improved, leading to enhanced scores in the second round. ultimately, SG Kyburg 1 maintained their dominance, finishing with a total of 1399 points. STS Dübendorf 1 and SG Hittnau 1 secured second and third place, respectively, each with 1379 points. Unfortunately, SG Wetzikon couldn’t replicate their first-round performance, settling for sixth place.
Individually, Horst Haller from Neerach achieved the highest score across both rounds with 286 points. Carlo Pedrazzini from Basadingen and Anton Dörig from aathal closely trailed with 285 points each.
