The two youth coaches Kyra Pech and Tobias Diemer made a long journey to take part with three young wrestlers in the Kahlgrund tournament in Mömbris-Königshofen in Hesse, which was wrestled in the Greco-Roman style, last Sunday. Oguzhan Erdogan, Fabian Just and Noah Pech were there. In the end, the KSV players returned home with two silver medals in their luggage. Oguzhan Erdogan had to accept a massive points defeat in the first fight in the 42 kg class in the U10 category, but then did better in the second fight and won with a 12:4 lead. In the end he stood on the winner’s podium with the silver medal. Noah Pech also won silver in the 28 kg class for the U 10. He did it the other way around and started with a shoulder win after a 10-1 lead, but then had to accept a shoulder defeat in the second fight against local hero Fedor Fleckenstein from the host RWG Mömbris-Königshofen. Fabian Just had to fight four fights in the 33 kg class at U10. He fought back in all fights, but was unable to win against the strong Hessian opponents. In the end he took 5th place.
