– There is a man who was found dead in his cell in Kongsvinger prison today, police attorney Elisabeth Palfi told VG.
The police were notified by the Correctional Service on Saturday afternoon at 1.27pm, says Palfi.

The cause of death is currently unknown, and the deceased will undergo an autopsy. The police say that there is no evidence that a criminal offense has taken place.
