Although it narrowly missed out on a few major awards at The Game Awards, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II remains one of the best games of the year for many. Nintendo Switch 2 players haven’t yet had a chance to explore Bohemia in the sequel, but over at DevGAMM we asked the game’s cinematic director if we could see KCD II coming to the new platform soon.
“It’s a tough question. I believe we’ve launched the first one on Switch and the response has been pretty good,” Petr Pakar said in our recent interview when asked what his cutscenes would look like on the Nintendo Switch 2. “I can only imagine they’d be pretty good too. I think they’re really, really well optimized.”
So, this is not to deny that the game will launch on the new platform. Pakar didn’t stick around for long with the Nintendo Switch 2 release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, but the concept doesn’t look ridiculous at all.
