Death metal legends DEICIDE are emerging from the underground with full force and are releasing their new album “Banished By Sin”. After a long break of six years since the last album “Overtures Of Blasphemy” there is now the 13th album.
The first track “From Unknown Heights You Shall Fall” starts off hard and without much preamble. Glen Benton’s typical deep growls and the musical arrangement take you right back to the 90s. “Doomed To Die” is very reminiscent of the classic “Sacrificial Suicide”, whereas the song “Sever The Tongue” shows more of the new facets of DEICIDE. With the fast track “Faithless” you can expect some cool guitar riffs and lots of rhythms to get your head banging. This is followed by “Bury The Cross… With Your Christ”, which is a reference to the album “Once Upon the Cross”. A short, fast Death Metal track with a lot of power.
“Woke From God” continues with brutal aggression and the old-school song “Ritual Defied” lets you dive even further into the album and its depths.
