Accident Details Emerge

A fatal accident on Jalan Kedung Cowek,heading towards the Suramadu Bridge in Surabaya,has resulted in the death of a 49-year-old woman.The incident, which occurred on Monday, April 7, 2025, prompted a swift response from local authorities.

Surabaya Command center officer Aprilia Sri Karinasari confirmed that they received the alert around 13:20 WIB. Upon arrival at the scene, first responders found the victim in the roadway. “After checking, the victim was declared dead,” Karinasari stated.

Victim Identified as Local Educator

The victim has been identified as AF,a 49-year-old resident of Pogot,Surabaya.According to Risdi Prayogo, a colleague, AF was a dedicated religious teacher at two elementary schools in the Perak area of Surabaya. The loss has deeply affected the local educational community.

The body of the deceased has been transported to the Dr. Soetomo Regional Hospital mortuary. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
