You can vote on the Kastaars website until January 18. In addition to these seven categories, three more winners are chosen by a professional jury: breakthrough of the year, the impact prize and the career prize.
The Kastaars! will be awarded during a grand show in the AED Studios in Lint. The TV show can be seen live on VRT 1, VTM, Play, VRT MAX and VTM GO. This year the award ceremony will be presented by Danira Boukhriss Terkessidis, Gert Verhulst and Ruth Beeckmans.

Media Personality of the Year

No big surprises in the ‘Media Personality of the Year’ category. Ward Lemmelijn charmed Flanders Dancing with the stars in The smartest person in the world. Jade Mintjens made herself very popular as King Krab and won The masked singer. Annelies Schetters gave her own interpretation of the term housewife The real housewives of Antwerp and Felix Heremans played everyone home The smartest person.
Old stalwarts such as Staf Coppens, Sam Gooris and Kristel Verbeke complete the list. What is striking: after a difficult year of penance, Tom Waes receives another nomination in this category. A year ago, just after his accident, he was not among the nominees, but he was the two years before.
