After much anticipation, Karol G and Feid have unveiled their collaboration, “Verano Rosa.” The song,listed as “Canción 13” on Karol G’s album Tropicoqueta,is a vibrant reggaeton track. Karol G sings, “Que fuimos un verano rosa, un verano pa no olvidar,” before Feid adds his vocals. The tracklist for Tropicoqueta was revealed earlier in the week, with the title of the 13th track intentionally omitted.

“Verano Rosa” has been in growth for years. Karol G first mentioned the song in her 2023 interview. “It’s a song about heartbreak, which is the best part of it all,” she stated. at the time, the song was incomplete, as Karol G sought the right collaborator. She recounted,”[Feid] says,’I no you’ve thought of thousands of people and no one fits but … are you gonna let me get on that song?'”

Fans have been eager for a collaboration between the two Colombian artists,who confirmed their relationship in 2023. They previously collaborated on Feid’s song “Friki” in 2021, after Karol G invited him to open for her Bichota tour. “Verano Rosa” is their first official collaboration as a couple.

In her documentary Tomorrow Was Beautiful, Karol G shared how she and Feid connected during the Bichota tour.She recalled a night of video games and flirting that ended with a goodnight kiss, emphasizing their deep connection and shared values.
