It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Giovanni Zaccheo, on Monday January 26th, 2026, at the age of 85. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Benedetta Pace Zaccheo, his loving children Paolo (Nadia), Grace (Andy), Rino (Margot) and Lucy (Hafid), his cherished grandchildren Sophia (Alessio), Stefania and Lucas, his brother Franco (Anna), his sister-in-law Giulia and many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 6825 Sherbrooke E. in Montreal. on Thursday, January 29th, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday morning as of 8:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. A ceremony will be held on Friday, January 30th, 2026 at 9 a.m. the chapel of the complex thence to Le Repos Saint Francois D’Assise Cemetery. For those who wish to donate, donations can be made to the Montreal Alzheimers’ Society.
