Production Support Project: Call for Submissions

From March 31st to April 14th, filmmakers can submit their projects for consideration under the Jeonju Film Production Support Project in the first half of 2025. The city plans to select five projects across various categories, including:

  • One nationwide film
  • One short film
  • One local short story
  • Two digital cinema packages (DCPs)

Building on Past Successes

This initiative builds upon the success of previous years. Films supported by Jeonju have garnered recognition at prestigious film festivals. For example:

K-NUMBER (directed by Cho Se-young) and Yurim (directed by Song Ji-seo) both received awards at the 2024 Busan International Film Festival.

Esper’s Light (directed by Jung Jae-hoon) was honored at the 2024 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.

These accolades highlight the effectiveness of Jeonju’s investment in nurturing emerging talent and supporting innovative storytelling.
