The waste collection service will be carried out on the usual days and times of each area from January 5 to 16. ACOR and the Municipal Fund will attend normally, the CEL will do so in a single shift and the other areas will work with on-call personnel.
The Municipality of Corrientes reports on the operation of the services it usually provides, taking into account the Administrative Fair arranged for municipal staff from January 5 to 18, in two shifts, through Resolution No. 036 signed by the mayor, Claudio Polich.
In this sense, the Secretariat of Public Services reported that waste collection will not undergo changes in the aforementioned period, so it will be provided normally on the usual days and times for each area. The same will happen with differentiated collection, in the neighborhoods that have this service, as well as the withdrawal of what is deposited in the different Green Points located in the city.
The Correntina Collection Agency (ACOR) will also normally attend during the administrative fair, from Monday to Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the headquarters located at Av. La Paz 2440. The same will happen with the Municipal Loan Fund, which will operate at its facilities at 1269 Brasil Street, on business days from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Undersecretariat of Traffic and Road Safety indicated that the Driving License Issuing Center (CEL) will work in a single shift. From January 5 to 9, it will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and from the 12th to the 16th, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
From January 5 to January 16, the Misdemeanor Court will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while the Misdemeanor Courts will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On January 10, 11, 17 and 18 it will be on guard, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for abbreviated procedures for common kidnappings and removal of vehicles from public roads.
The Directorate of Deaths will not suffer alterations in its work modality during the administrative fair, since it will operate every day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the internal office at Calle 25 de Mayo 1132 (Municipal Palace), only to process burials, transfers and introduction of ashes. The same will happen with the San Juan Bautista cemeteries in the 17 de Agosto neighborhood and San Isidro Labrador, in Laguna Brava, which will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for visits, burials and urgent procedures.
The Primary Health Care Rooms (SAPS) will serve during the fair period with guards who will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. While the metered parking service will be fulfilled normally, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The SUBE points will work in the first two weeks of the year with the following modality: General Directorate of Transportation (replaces the Municipal Palace), located at Belgrano 2157, and in the 17 de Agosto neighborhood delegation, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In the Dr. Nicolini neighborhood delegation it will not operate during the fair from January 5 to 9, while the remaining days it will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. At the point located in the San Martín neighborhood delegation, attention will be from 7:30 to 12:30 and from January 12 to 16 it will be closed for the fair; while in Laguna Seca it will work from January 5 to 9, from 7:00 to 11:00, while from the 12th to the 16th it will work from 7:00 to 10:00.
The Mercado de Abasto (El Piso) and the Fresh Products Market will open their doors normally during the administrative fair from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The same will happen with the Shopping Malls located in the Port, San Gerónimo neighborhood, formerly Vía and El Piso, which will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The City Fairs will also complete their usual weekly route during the administrative fair, according to the following schedule: Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Plaza Torrent and Los Amigos; on Wednesday in Plaza Torrent; on Thursday in Plaza La Cruz; on Saturday in Miter Park (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), and on Paseo Arazaty (from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.). On Sunday, again on Paseo Arazaty, from 10:00 to 20:00.
For their part, the tourist information centers will operate, from January 5 to 16, according to the following scheme: Plaza Vera, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Cabral Square from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; terminal from 8:00 to 20:00; Lavalle Street Shopping Mall, Monday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and those at the port and airport will not attend.
It must be remembered that the areas of Traffic, Urban Police, Transport, sweeping and the Municipal Ambulance Service will work during the fair with personnel on duty.
END OF THE YEAR AND BEGINNING OF 2026
On the other hand, the capital Commune reminds about the operation of services during the last day of this year and the beginning of 2026, due to the administrative holidays arranged for December 31 and January 2, as well as the national holiday on Thursday the 1st.
The Ministry of Public Services announced that on January 1, 2026 there will be no waste collection, while on December 31, 2025 the service will be provided normally in the morning, while in the areas served at night it will be brought forward starting at 2:00 p.m.
