Zero base One’s Jang Hao Recognized at Hallyu Expo for Chart-Topping OST
The singer received the Global Netizen Award for his work on ‘Transit Love 3‘ OST ‘I wanna No’.
SEOUL – Group ‘Zero Base One‘s Jang Hao is making waves as the voice behind the hit OST (Original Soundtrack) for Teabing Entertainment’s ‘Transit Love 3’. The song, ‘I Wanna Know,’ has achieved important recognition, securing five awards, including the ‘Circle Chart Music Awards 2023’ VIAJE Global Popular Award, the ‘3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards’ OST Popular Award, the ‘2024 K World Dream Awards’ Global Yu Pic Choice, and ‘The 1st Di Awards’ Yu Pic Global Choice Award.
Jang Hao was celebrated at the 7th Newsis Hallyu Expo (2025 K-Expo), held at the Lotte Hotel Crystal ballroom hall in Sogong-dong, Seoul, on August 28th. This year marked the introduction of the Global Netizen Award, determined entirely by fan votes through the stardom app. Jang Hao emerged victorious, amassing 151,8857 points in the OST category, a testament to the fans’ gratitude for his music. The event also featured a StarTalk session, where fans’ pre-submitted questions were addressed.
During his acceptance speech, Jang Hao expressed his gratitude: “First of all, I would like to thank the officials who invited you to a meaningful place. In fact, I was so happy that I was so happy that I was so happy. I am really happy now. I am well influenced by the korean Wave. I will be thankful and make a good work in the future.”
Jang Hao’s journey began with his selection as the first member of Zero Base One on Mnet’s ‘Boys Planet’ in 2023, becoming the first foreign winner of the audition program. Zero Base One’s debut album, “Never Say Never,” released on September 1st, achieved remarkable sales, exceeding 1.51 million copies within its first week (September 1-7). This accomplishment solidified Zero Base One as the first K-pop group to achieve six consecutive “Millionseller” titles with their albums, accumulating over 9 million in cumulative sales. Their title track,’ICONIK,’ also gained traction,appearing on Japanese Line Music Real-time top 100 and Chinese QQ Music Top Trend Song Chart.
