A week after actor James Van Der Beek died, actor Eric Dane also lost his life to ALS. Now Dane is remembered by Van Der Beek’s wife.
Kimberly Van Der Beek has shared an emotional post on her Instagram story following the death of “Grey’s Anatomy” star Eric Dane on February 19.
– We love you, she writes and tags Eric Dane’s late wife, Rebecca Gayheart.
– Will miss our boys laughing together at Christmas parties, she writes further.
She writes that a week after she lost her own husband, “Dawson’s Creek” star James Van Der Beek, to colon cancer.
The photo was taken in 2017 during a charity gala, according to TMZ.
Gayheart has posted a number of photos of her family on her own Instagram account, where she remembers her late husband and their life together.
Dane also left behind two daughters.

The actor, who is best known for his role as Mark Sloan in “Grey’s Anatomy”, was diagnosed in April last year.
– It had been an exhausting journey just to get accurate answers, he said then.
Dane had gone from specialist to specialist, taking test after test, before a neurologist finally gave him the tough news
