Jalisco gears Up for International MMA Extravaganza

From May 12th to 16th, 2025, Guadalajara, Jalisco, will become a hub for mixed martial arts (MMA) as the State Council for sports Advancement (CODE) hosts the Lux MMA Fest. This international event promises a high-caliber showcase of combat sports,drawing fighters and fans alike.

A Complete Program: Seminars, Competitions, and Empowerment

The Lux MMA Fest offers a diverse program extending beyond the fights themselves. Attendees can participate in seminars, specialized courses, and even witness competitions among content creators, reflecting the growing intersection of MMA and digital media.This multifaceted approach aims to engage a broad audience and foster a deeper appreciation for the sport.

Empowering Women Thru Self-Defense

Recognizing the importance of personal safety and empowerment, Lux Fight League will offer two free personal defense classes for women on Wednesday, May 14th, and Friday, May 15th. These sessions, led by specialized instructors, will provide practical self-protection techniques and encourage female participation in combat disciplines. This initiative aligns with a broader movement to promote inclusivity and safety within the MMA community.

Event Highlights: Streamers Smash and Lux Fight League 052

The festival’s schedule is packed with exciting events:

• May 14th: A seminar open to the public, featuring coaches and instructors from leading MMA academies in the Guadalajara metropolitan area.
• May 15th: The semifinals of “Streamers Smash” at the Mayor Dome.This innovative competition features rising MMA stars sponsored by prominent Latin American content creators. The grand final will be held in Monterrey in August.
• May 16th: “Lux Fight League 052” at the Mayor Dome, showcasing high-level MMA fights.

Championship Bouts Headline Lux Fight League 052

The “Lux Fight League 052” event will feature two headline fights:

• Andrea Vázquez vs. Dana García for the World Strawweight Championship.
• Raúl Zaragoza vs. Hugo Flores for the interim World Lightweight Championship.
