Jakarta Weather Today: Rain & Strong Winds Forecast | BMKG

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that some areas in Jabodetabek (Greater Jakarta) area will experience light to moderate rain during the afternoon and evening of Tuesday, December 9, 2025. The potential rain is expected to be accompanied by thunder and strong winds in most parts of Bogor Regency, Depok City, Bekasi City, South Tangerang City, and Tangerang Regency.

Referring to the latest weather forecast from BMKG, Jakarta and its surrounding areas are likely to be cloudy, except for the Thousand Islands which may experience light to moderate rain. The air humidity in the capital city is currently around 68-85 percent.

Between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM, there is also a possibility of light to moderate rain in some areas of Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, South Tangerang, and Tangerang Regency. During the same period, Jakarta is still expected to be mostly cloudy, with some areas being partly cloudy.

After 7:00 PM, towards the night, the weather in almost the entire Jabodetabek region is expected to become cloudy again, with the potential of rain limited to some areas in Bekasi Regency.

BMKG recorded the temperature in Jakarta and its surrounding areas to be around 25-33 degrees Celsius today, and slightly lower in the Bogor area, approximately 22-31 degrees Celsius.
