The ITTF World Para Future Buenos Aires 2025 is underway, running from May 30th to June 1st.This year marks the 21st edition of the competition, solidifying its place as the longest-running event in Para table tennis. The tournament is the fourth Future event of the season and provides a platform for emerging stars.

Argentina has fielded a strong team of 37 players, blending experienced champions with promising newcomers.Leading the charge are Argentine Para legends Gabriel Copola (C3) and Giselle Munoz (C7).
Gabriel Copola, 41, brings a wealth of international experience to the competition.He has consistently ranked among the world’s top players and competed at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, in addition to securing gold medals at Parapan American competitions.
Giselle Munoz, a five-time Paralympian, is another key player for Argentina. Her career highlights include multiple medals at Parapan American and Pan American Games, as well as a bronze medal at the 2014 World Championships.
Younger athletes like Coty Garrone (C2) and Elias Romero (C5) are also expected to make an impact. Garrone, who has competed at the Tokyo and Paris Paralympic Games, is currently ranked fifth internationally. romero has previously won gold at Copa Tango events in Buenos Aires and participated in Paris 2024.

Florencia Perez (C8) of Chile, a breakout star from Paris 2024, is set to compete.At just 15 years old, Perez won a bronze medal in the WS8 singles, becoming Chile’s youngest ever Paralympic medalist.
claudio Massad of brazil, a bronze medalist at Paris 2024, will also be in action. Massad, who made his Paralympic debut at 39, formed a successful partnership with Luiz Manara MD18 in france.
Danielle Rauen, another Brazilian bronze medalist from Paris, is also participating in the event. Rauen’s achievements include bronze medals at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in the Team event, as well as a bronze in the WD20 doubles at the recent games. She also won a World Team Championship gold in 2017.
