Beirut – KUNA: Today, Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces launched several violent air strikes, with threats to expand their scope, on a number of towns and villages in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the occupation warplanes carried out an air strike on the town of “Tairdaba” in the Tyre district, wounding one person.

The National Agency reported that the occupation aircraft also launched air strikes on the towns of “Aita al-Jabal” and “Zawtar al-Sharqiya” in the Bint Jbeil District, targeting homes and buildings, while recording heavy overflights of the occupation’s drones and reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of several villages in the Tire District.

It indicated that Israeli drones continue to fly at low altitude in the airspace of the capital, Beirut, and its southern suburbs, all the way to the coastal Matn.

In a related development, the Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health said that the final toll of the air strike carried out by the Israeli occupation on the town of (Tura) in the (Tyre) district earlier today rose to one dead and eight wounded who were transferred to hospitals to receive the necessary treatment.

For weeks, the southern regions of Lebanon have witnessed a continuous military escalation by the Israeli occupation forces, represented by air strikes, artillery attacks, and intense drone flights in repeated violation of Resolution 1701, while the Lebanese authorities confirm that these attacks aim to undermine stability in the south and expose the lives of civilians to danger.
