Jerusalem, July 4 (Xinhua) – Israeli defense forces (FDI) published this Friday an evacuation notice urging the inhabitants of several zones of Khan Younès, city in the south of Gaza, to immediately evacuate before planned military strikes.
“For your safety, immediately evacuate west and refrain from going back to dangerous combat areas,” said Arabic-speaking FDI spokesperson Avichay Adraee on the social media platform X.
He added that the FDIs were “very strongly” led operations in the region, and that they “hit any area used to launch rockets against Israel”.
“In accordance with our previous warnings, the destruction of terrorist organizations will continue and will extend to any area used for terrorist activities,” said this press release.
In a previous statement, the FDIs said that their air force had struck a hundred “terrorist” targets in the Gaza Strip in the previous day, to support the troops deployed on the ground.
Among the target targets were launchers, military structures, armament storage facilities, and other “terrorist” targets, according to the Israeli army.
