“So. I surrendered. I have visualized this moment for a long time,” wrote Isabelle Brouillette Monday evening on her Instagram account.
Moving, her publication shows her in the dressing rooms of the La Licorne theater, in the company of her playmates Marilyn Castonguay, Steve Laplante and Hubert Proulx. They are all dressed in their stage costumes and smile at the camera held by Isabelle Brouillette, who can be seen with a smile on her lips.
“Thanks and with my companions. Exceptional artists and humans. Tonight, we change our lives,” notes the actress, aged 56, who moved the Quebec public during her appearance at Everyone is talking about it Sunday evening.
Cancer rare
On January 12, Isabelle Brouillette revealed that she had fought an extremely rare facial cancer following a diagnosis received on November 20, 2024.
On December 17, 2024, during an operation that lasted 14 hours, we had to remove her nose, 47 lymph nodes, teeth and part of the palate to keep her alive.
The actress, who now wears a nasal prosthesis and who has done everything possible to be able to one day return to the stage, performs in the play Change your life, by Catherine Léger, until March 7 at La Licorne.
