GUARDS OF THE REVOLUTION: USA Stuck in the Swamp

Major General Ali Abdullahi, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, argued that the USA was stuck in a swamp in Iran and said, “After Trump realized the facts on the ground and that his goals would not be realized, he took refuge in the leaders of some countries to get out of the war.”

THE WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST FEARED FAR ASIA: THEY DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos declared a national energy emergency in response to the war in Iran and what he described as a resulting “imminent danger” to the country’s energy supply. In a decree shared with the media, Marcos stated that a committee was established to ensure the orderly movement, supply, distribution and availability of fuel, food, medicine, agricultural products and essential goods.

ISRAEL CONTINUES TO HIT LEBANON

The Israeli army announced that it targeted fuel stations across Lebanon that “finance Hezbollah‘s activities.”

Hezbollah also said it would fight to prevent Israeli troops from invading southern Lebanon and that such an invasion would pose an “existential threat” to the Lebanese state. In his statement today, the Israeli Minister of Defense stated that he had instructed the army to create a “security zone” south of the Litani River, which passes approximately 30 kilometers north of the Israeli border.

TRUMP’S STATEMENTS HAD GREAT REFLECTIONS

In his statements on March 23, US President Donald Trump said that negotiations were held with Iran and postponed possible attacks on energy infrastructures, which were received positively and led to an increase in comments that the war could end.

The US press states that the US will continue its attacks on Iran and that Trump’s postponement of the attacks will only cover energy facilities.

US President Trump postponed his plan to attack Iran’s energy network for five days. Iran later denied entering into negotiations with the United States. A US official said, “The five-day offensive suspension decision covers only energy facilities. It does not apply to military facilities, navy, ballistic missiles and defense industrial base. The first attempts of the operation will continue.” he said. It was stated that Israel was not a party to Trump’s talks with Iran.

Speaking to Reuters, Israeli officials said, “Trump seems determined to reach an agreement with Iran.” Israeli officials said that it was unlikely that Iran would accept US demands.

Iranian media claimed that Israeli and US forces targeted two gas facilities and a pipeline in the country less than 24 hours after US President Donald Trump backed down from his threat to attack the energy infrastructure.

According to Fars news agency, a gas administration building and gas pressure regulation station in Isfahan were the target of attacks. It is stated that “partial damage” occurred in the facilities. At the same time, it was announced by the governor of the city that an ammunition hit the area outside the gas pipeline processing station of a power plant in the city of Hurremshahr, located in the southwest of the country, on the Iraqi border.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard warned the Israeli army that if Israel targets civilians in Palestinian territories and Lebanon, its troops in the north and Gaza Strip will be targeted ‘unlimitedly’.

NEW WAVE OF MISSILE ATTACK FROM IRAN ON ISRAEL

It was announced that 6 people were slightly injured in the retaliation carried out by Iran since midnight and targeting the central part of Israel. The Israeli army announced that its air defense systems were activated to prevent missiles detected to be fired from Iran.
