Iran Attacks: Expert Fears & Unprecedented Risks

by Archynetys World Desk

While the crisis is in full swing in Iran, this is a report that is cause for concern. In its 2025 annual report, the European Union Agency for Asylum Affairs (EUAA) states that a crisis in Iran could trigger a “unprecedented influx of refugees.

Experts explain that Iran is the second country in the world in terms of receiving refugees, and it also has 90 million inhabitants. “Even partial destabilization would cause an unprecedented influx of refugees. A move of only 10 % of Iranian population would be comparable to the largest refugee flows in recent decades”specifies the report. A report which, let us point out, was written before the latest attacks by the United States and Israel.
