Apple has announced the expansion of its ‘SELF Service Repair’ program to include iPads, following its initial launch for iPhones and Macs. The program enables users to perform their own repairs using genuine Apple parts, specialized tools, and detailed repair manuals.

First introduced for iPhones in early 2022, the program was later extended to Macs, starting with the MacBook, in August of the same year. Apple facilitates the process by offering the necessary parts and tools for sale or rent.

According to Apple,users of the iPad Air (Chip M2 or later),iPad Pro (M4),iPad Mini (A17 PRO),and iPad (A16) can now order repair kits and individual components.These include displays, batteries, cameras, and external charging ports.
