iPhone Air 2 should be presented together with iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max and to the first iPhone Foldor later in the spring of 2027 together with the “base” iPhone 18.

Reading what is circulating online, iPhone Air 2 could be an opportunity to bring home some important news in terms of improvements compared to the first model. One of the most important could concern the processor: Apple seems to be pushing a lot on a chip a 2 nmcalled A20 Pro. In reality, the objective would first and foremost be to extend battery life, in order to fill one of the main limitations of the first iPhone Air, so a more efficient 2nm chip could allow iPhone Air 2 to have a good performance/consumption ratio.
It could improve too to the photo. The first model features a single 48 MP lens which guarantees good quality but is still limiting. iPhone Air 2 could perhaps integrate a second objectivepresumably a ultra-wide angleso as to make the camera more versatile.
Possible price drop
Apple might also take the opportunity to review the price. The iPhone Air currently starts at 999 dollars in the USA and many consider it a little too expensive, so it is said that the Californian giant is considering a hypothetical price cut $899 per iPhone Air 2although we should maintain a certain caution regarding the reliability of this rumor.
Another possible good news could come from screen. iPhone Air 2 should adopt a display OLED of new generation, using what is called CoE technology which eliminates a layer of the screen making it thinner, brighter and more efficient. The panel should always be 6.55 inches, with 120 Hz refresh rate, LTPO support and Dynamic Island.
The design of the iPhone Air 2 should change little
From the point of view of designiPhone Air 2 shouldn’t differ much, though Apple would like to try to reduce the thickness further which is already very contained. The other buttons such as the Action Button and Camera Control, as far as we know, should also not change. Furthermore, it is currently unclear when iPhone Air 2 will actually be presented.
