IOS 26.4, 27 & 28: Future Apple Updates Revealed

Scheduled for next spring, iOS 26.4 would be particularly dense. Apple is reportedly planning a redesign of the Health app interface with better organized categories and simplified manual entry for body measurements, symptoms or taking medications. This would involve Apple preparing the launch of a new subscription called Health+, the medical subscription announced by Bloomberg and which should arrive sometime next year. This service would offer an assistant using health data stored in the app to provide personalized recommendations on nutrition, exercise and sleep.

Apple is also reportedly testing a mechanism to detect the addition of a bank card in a third-party app in order to automatically suggest its registration in the iCloud Keychain. The operation is similar to Safari Autofill: the system locates a map form and suggests saving or using a map already stored. Freeform, for its part, gains a folder system synchronized via iCloud to better organize its tables, bringing the app closer to a classic productivity tool.

Still with iOS 26.4, Apple is working on enhanced verification of the integrity of the iPhone when connecting to Apple ID or iCloud. The objective: to block access to services if the system detects an unauthorized modification, such as a jailbreak.

Last but not least, iOS 26.4 will bring the new version of Siri. The assistant would be able to hold more natural exchanges, understand the context of the screen and analyze the content of apps like Mail, Messages or Calendar to respond to concrete requests (flight arrival time, restaurant reservation, adding a product to a shopping list). Behind the scenes, Apple would rely on Gemini for complex queries. As we know, AI at Apple has led to several internal reshuffles and several departures.
