What new features are expected in iOS 26.3?
Traditionally, the third versions of systems are not the most loaded with new features, and iOS 26.3 is no exception. After the first betas, notable changes remained limited. There are adjustments to the wallpapers side (Weather is now separated from the Astronomy category, and some new weather variants are appearing in the gallery).
The most important novelty remains the new transfer option to Android. Indeed, Apple has added a setting intended to facilitate the switch from an iPhone to an Android smartphone, as part of an Apple/Google collaboration. At the same time, Google would also be working on a similar function to migrate more easily to the iPhone.
European users will be entitled to several adjustments related to regulatory compliance, including an interesting new feature : the transfer of notifications to non-Apple Watch smartwatches. So far, the Apple Watch remains the smoothest option to retrieve all iPhone notifications. But in the EU, Apple will soon have to allow other wearables to benefit from similar operation.
The public version could include additional new features, such as a new Black Unity wallpaperand perhaps finally the end-to-end encryption for RCS messagesawaited for several months.
